About an hour's drive from Orlando, FL in
Polk county.
We are very excited about this new show that focuses on dance of all
kinds and will include styles such as Tribal Dancing, Belly Dancing,
Native American Dancing, Clogging, Tap Dancing, Ballroom Dancing,

Ballet. Plenty of drum Circles are also planned!
Have some extra fun and come in costume. From 6:00pm-10:00pm

There will be plenty of unique shopping. Not just the same old
booths at a festival, but some fun stuff! We will offer our
famous glass bangles, Indian shoes, and henna, of course.
After the
Fact:
Our Thoughts About the World Dance Bazaar:
WOW! What a fun time! A varied grouping of dancers
form nearly every genre. I was pleasantly surprised to see
multiple different styles of tribal dance represented. A small
street party had the entire audience on their feet dancing together.
I'm happy to say that even my daughter went up and tore up the dance
floor, lol!
Would we do it again? YES! We
look forward to next year!

11:00am - 5:00pm
Lake Eola Park

Last year's festival was so much fun, we are doing it again!
This yearly festival in downtown Orlando brings Orlando art and
music together at the gorgeous Lake Eola Park and Amphitheater.
Beachcombers! will, again, have a booth where you can
meet us and shop for khussa Indian shoes and glass bangle sets.

After the Fact:
Our Thoughts About Lake Eola Art & Music Festival:
What a fantastic festival! This event is one of our
favorites. Even with the weather problems on Saturday morning
(we had a small monsoon if you weren't there, lol!), this year's
show was awesome! The music was even better than last year,
and there was a great turn out.
We had Nadia doing henna at our booth, which we didn't have last
year. Nadia has been doing henna since she was a little girl,
and she is great! We had a ton of clearance shoes and
customers were thrilled about that.
We were lucky enough to be located next to
Aura Pix again
this year. Those guys are incredible! Talk about good
vibes near by, lol! Really, if you haven't had your aura
photographed yet, you should.
Would we do it again? YES! We'll
see you next year!

A Tribal Garden
Florida
Tribal Dance 1st Annual Gala Show
Sunday November 4, 2007
7:00pm
The Cathedral of the Incarnation
1515 Edgewater Dr,
Orlando, FL 32804
This is a DON'T MISS event!
Florida Tribal Dance is putting on their first annual tribal belly
dance show. This is not an impersonal show staged at a theater, but an intimate look into Florida Tribal Dance in the
beautiful Royal Hall at The Cathedral of the Incarnation.
Lacey has brought in some superb professional acts including a
tear-jerking Flamenco dancer, Tribal Dancers from Miami, and, of
course, Florida Tribal Dance's two professional troupes,
Black V and Blue Caravan. You will also get to see the
classes perform and join in for a special celebration of cake in
honor of Florida Tribal Dance's first year!
Beachcombers! is proud to support our local
tribal belly dance scene! Stop by our
table at the show to purchase glass bangles to wear during the show.
Remember, it is a gala so have some fun and dress up!

After the
Fact:
Our Thoughts About A Tribal Garden:
I can't begin to describe what a fantastic show this was!
Every dance had me enchanted, from the beginning level students (who
looked like Indian statues come alive) to the Professional dancers
from all over Florida, and Tammy (the Flamenco dancer) gave a heart
wrenching performance.
The audience demanded that Lacey, the star of the show and the heart
of Florida Tribal Dance, perform one last solo at the end of the
night (to Snake Charmer) and she graciously thanked all the other
dancers during her solo.
The costuming was unbelievable and many of the dancer sported
Beachcombers! glass bangles and henna! This was a show that
left you wanting more! Positively BRILLIANT!
Would we do it again? YES! Wouldn't miss
it for the world!

After the
Fact:
Our Thoughts About Enchanted Twilight III:
It is always great to help support a good cause and the Special
Olympics is a GREAT one! The highlight of the show was the
Athletes belly dancing. I've never seen anyone having so much
fun! The athletes had fantastic colorful costumes, but their
smiles outshown even the professional costumes. A variety of
belly dance styles were represented and we were treated to a solo by
an acrobat-turned-belly-dancer that was truly spectacular. One
of our favorite dancers, Sparkle also lit up the stage!
Would we do it again? YES! We
look forward to next year!

A beautiful hours drive from Orlando, this festival is well worth the trip!
After the Fact:
Our Thoughts About the Ocala Cultural Festival
Wow! Ocala is the cutest little town
with a vibrant town square and fantastic people! If you missed
it, this festival should be on your list for next year. The
entertainment was top-notch including Florida Tribal Dance,
classical Indian dance, ballroom, Scottish, and more. There
were tons of fantastic vendors including
Euphoria's Box (artesian handmade mosaic candle holders), some
very cool jewelry, an amazing caricature artist, FANTASTIC food
(including an Indian food tent that made the best samosas) and tons
more.
Would we do it again? YES! We will definitely be
there next year!

After the Fact:
Our Thoughts About Gypsy Heritage Festival
What
a GREAT time we had! The entertainment was top-notch!
There were Flamenco dancers, drummers, traditional belly dancers,
American Tribal Style dancers, fusion dancers, and more. The
music and performances were inspiring.
The other vendors were awesome too! There was the most awesome
massage therapist from InnerBalancing Touch, doing massages at only
$1 a minute (who generously treated me to a free massage for my
birthday!). There was also an acupuncturist from Hin
Acupuncture. There was also a tarrot card reader.
Other vendors were selling belly dance ware, jewelry, fantastic
sarongs, incense, and more.
We did plenty of henna tattoos, gave away "birthday beads" and
raffled off two baskets of Beachcombers! goodies (each worth more
than $90!).
Would we do it again? YES! We look forward to next year!

Our Thoughts About Thornton Park Third Thursday:
WOW! Completely fun! We met some fantastic people,

with. The location is great, with a fabulous patio and
trendy studio where artist Mark Hadley displayed a great
selection of his art, Beachcombers! set up baskets of glass
bangles, and snacks with rum punch kept everyone happy.
Florida Tribal Dance preformed two shows for the crowd.
Between the funky cool music, eye-popping costuming, and
mysterious slinky dancing, the crowd was left wanting more!
The atmosphere was fun and party-like. The people were are

Our Thoughts About Lake Eola Art & Music Festival:
What an action packed, fun, and exciting two days! We
learned so much being face-to-face with our customers. Not
to mention the fabulous artwork on display by very talented
artists! My wish list of art that I saw is about 2 pages
long.
Farasha and the Florida Tribal Dancers were absolutely
fantastic. They made a such a big splash on the AcustiCon stage
that they were invited to perform TWICE on the large
amphitheater stage. They were that good!
The atmosphere was just as an art festival should be, fun and
low-key. People from every walk of life walked from
booth-to-booth while nibbling fair-food.
Would we do it again? YES, February 23 &
24, 2008!
